Hey Steve. Welcome to the site. Please put your location in your profile, there is probably someone close to you that can help.
The fuel pump on a 90 is located in the fuel tank. What exactly do you mean not getting fuel to pump? The pump itself could be bad, or, the inertia switch may be "popped". This is a switch in case of an accident, it "pops" cutting off fuel to prevent a fire. It is located in the cargo area, under the plastic panel. Push the little button on it to reset it.
Also check the fuses to make sure it is not the fuse for the pump.
Edit, kozak beat me to it.Last edited by drddan; 01-07-2011, 11:31 AM.Dan

^^^ X2 on the fuses if it turns out the switch isn't popped. I've known too many people that have dropped the tank down and changed their fuel pumps (thankfully that isn't required on the festiva) only to find out that it still doesn't work. The fuse are an easy check and a cheap easy fix if it is the problem. No festiva for me ATM...

fuel pump relay relay is underneath drivers side compartment, right under the ECU, right by the hood latch release lever.... if i recall...
EDIT:
found this-
Fuel Pump relay should be above the driver's left foot, against the kick panel, 6 position connector with 5 wires (black/red, yel/black, green/red, black, green/yel). And yes, the Vane Air Flow Meter provides a ground to relay coil. During cranking, there should be 12v on yel/black and black/red, and coming out on green/yel. There should be ground on the black wire. When running, ground should be present on the green/red wire, and the black/red should loose power.Last edited by ejp2fast; 01-07-2011, 02:43 PM.
