  • Can't find rear axle bushings

Could somebody give me the part number of the rear axle-to-body pivot bushing? I've went to every auto parts store in my city, and nobody can find the bushing in their database...

I thought about it, but they're kinda pricey, plus with the shipping to Canada, it could get even more expensive, so I keep it as my last resort. And didn't some people say that FMS is pretty hard to get a hold of nowadays?

Try to get the Ford part number for it and then do a Google search for the number. I've found parts that way in places you would never have thought of.

I do this all the time for all kinds of stuff. I often find deals that, even after shipping, cost way less than what the local stores want.

The guys at this web site say they will look up Ford part numbers for you: http://www.greensalescompany.com/Gre...sInventory.asp
A little over halfway down the page is their phone number to call for part number information. The number is: 513-731-3304

I called that Green Sales looking for some weather stripping & they had it and were pretty nice to deal with when I asked them to look up parts. Not the usual parts guy who doesn't even look at his screen or asks why you're buying parts for a 20yr old throw away car.

Ok, I have good news and bad news...Good news is I've got the factory part number for the bushing (Aspire 1994-1997): MD002-28460-C, and my Ford dealer printed me the diagram of the entire rear suspension with all the part numbers, so if anybody needs a part number, post away. Bad news is, Ford says it's discontinued. Well, in my part of the country anyways. And my local auto parts stores can't get them either, so I guess I'll have to go with FMS.

Try Kia. I typed "ford md002-28460-c" into Google and a reference to Kia came up.

someone, somewhere, somehow, needs to collect all these part numbers and put them in one NO-REPLY thread so you can just go there and find the numbers. I mean after all, how many parts are there that we need to replace? The no-reply will prevent the list becoming cluttered with the banter.

I know this is an old thread that has suddenly been resurrected but the usefulness of being able to get these is still there, and FMS is now defunct. Personally I need a set of the pivot bushings. 3-4 weeks ago Junspeed had indicated that he would check about availability of these and we (I, in any case) have not yet heard back from him.
At the moment I am presuming that Aspire and Festy use the same part and perhaps someone could chime in regarding this if it is not true.

Maurice never read any of my parts lookup posts.
First, you look in the Russian Kia catalog to find the 3 door Pride part number and then go to Four Green to check the price and order.
MD00128460B costs $5.79 each + Fedex from Korea.
Just in case you can't read Russian, choose the third item down (Chassis), and then select the third item down again (mechanism rear carriage), item 10 is what you need.
