A couple days ago on the Festiva the brake pedal decided to meet the floor. It would hold pressure for a little bit then let go. Master cylinder right? So I went and got another from Autozone. I bench bleed that worthless thing at least twice so far. I probably messed with it 30 minutes to try getting the bubbles gone and finally gave up. What is does is only applies pressure to the front passenger side. I get very little fluid from the rear and absolutely nothing from the drivers front. It's almost like it wants to suck the fluid backwards. Not sure if I should return it or if I'm just not doing it right. I clean the portioning valve and it looks clean. I was hoping to get it done before it snows and gets colder again.. so much for that.

If you're only getting fluid pressure to, it sounds like 1 of 4 wheels, it's probably not the MC. Getting pressure to the pass. side from makes sense, as it is actually the shortest run from the proportioning valve. I suspect either the valve is bad, or you've got a ruptured line somewhere. Do you see any puddles/wetness under the car after pressing in the pedal a few times?

Finally have brakes! I returned the MC to Autozone and they didn't have another so I got my money back. Went to OReillys had to wait 2 hours but I literally had it installed and bleed in less than an hour after I got it. The OReilly mc is a cardone brand. I could even tell a difference bench bleeding. I could almost party now...91 rusty Festiva 260k
