i dont know exactly what its called but right above the battery those three wires i believe their fusable links. well the middle one keeps getting red hot and melting in half? ive checked for shorts but cant find anything if i replace it with another piece of wire it will last a couple hours then melt again.
anyadvice would be appreciated i want too make some kind of nicer set up wuth fuses.

You can just replace the fusible links with long prong fuses, but first you have to find that short. Keep looking!!!

The wire is probably not heavy enough for it. Go to any auto parts store and you can buy the cartridge fuses. Might as well replace them all while your at it. Most people use 30-40-30 amp fuses left to right. And make sure to get the longer ones.

I would definitely go with the cartridge fuses, once you figure out your current draw issue. Do you have a volt meter? One at a time, pull the fuses under the steering wheel. Check for draw. Something is causing that wire to burn out. Just went through a current draw problem with mine. Mine was enough to kill the battery in less than two days, but never caused the links to melt. Find the problem, fix the problem.
