  • Small coolant hose by disty

Before I have to go to parts store and play what size is it can anyone tell me what size the small hose is? Also does the coolant flow towards front of the engine.. working on a project.

I did that job on that U shaped coolant hose last summer. I believe it is 5/16. I used a fuel hose. Also get that shaping spring with a little rod to make it "U" shaped if it's that one you're replacing

Actually the hose I replace it with will be longer with a filter in the middle. So not to worried about the shape. Funny how they have 5/16 and 3/8 why not just stick with one?

what i did to prevent that hard U shape, is to loop it up and around like a pig tail... (or like the breast cancer ribbon symbol, sorta)
