  • No high beams, burning smell.

Ok so I have a 90' festi, no go on the brights, got a lil burnin smell only when the switch is pulled back (you know to flash someone) NOT in the high position, i was on a road trip to Oregon and had the flicker low beam situation so i stoped at a truck stop in the middle of nowhere, (Love those truck stops they have everything there) got a switch ans wire few connectors spliced into the high beam "power" by the bulb driver side and with switch on works good, "Bright light indicator works too" Got new used intermittent wiper switch and multi function switch, same issue, wiring seems to be ok, im stuck, any help is much accepted,

    many thanks.

If you could smell it, it must be under the dash. I'll have to look at the diagram in my FSM to see what, other than wires, is under the dash.
