Does anyone have an actual underdash photo of an installed Festy computer?

  • #2
That's going to be a hard one to come by, as it is tucked way up under the dash on the drivers side pretty far. Maybe if someone had the dash off.
Getting that 10mm bolt off the bracket is the worst part, given the limited space.

It must be way way up there. I've been using lights and mirrors and i still can't see it. Anyone have a pic of the thing out of the car with a common size reference object in the pic?

It's behind the fuse panel, above the hood release lever, lay on your head and shine a light up in there, you'll see it

In the pic above it is the silver box right behind the yellow plug. Then it is mounted straight up from there.

Did you vote in the poll on the age thread? If so, now we know who the 65+ guy is on the site. Happy early Birthday.

              70! Wow, totally missed that.

Here's the best I can take of it installed, the big yellow plug is what your computer plugs into

If I remember correctly, it's easier to "see" the computer if you take the speedo out.

....this is the reason that you always want to take a car/boat/bike to get repaired by someone that has worked on them before.
