Used my first ever can of seafoam this weekend. Wow! I'm impressed.
The festy hesitated last time out (actually alot). I've had the car for a month, but haven't had the time for a tune up yet. Figured I really had nothing to lose (except $8.99), so I put 1/3 in the tank, 1/3 in the crankcase and 1/3 in PCV inlet.
Alot of smoke for maybe 2 minutes. It literally runs like new and steady idles at about 800 RPM's. I'm sure you all know about this stuff, but with all the snake oil and voodoo juice out there, it's nice to have something that works.

I had a sales rep at work bring some into the shop one day and I thought the same thing about it being snake oil he put a can in the shop truck and it filled the shop up with black smoke and the truck ran like Ive never seen, so no Im a believer, I work on the mowers and tractors and use it in everything I have and thats over 300 machines.

How do you go about adding it to the PVC inlet same as using the brake booster vac? Does adding it there clean something different than the booster vac?

Saw on another site about dribbling it into the pcv opening (at high idle 2000rpm) and I didn't know where the brake booster vac was. I think it does the same thing.

Sorry - misspelled the name. It's called Seafoam. It's an old school additive that seems to be the real deal. Definitely worth checking out.
