    Engine idle surge

    At idle, my engine hunts, or surges. Not much, just about, 100 or so RPM. I have done no trouble shooting at this point. I've lived with it but I know it isn't right. My first inclination is an air leak in the intake system. Does anyone know where else to start looking?

    Is your's carbed or EFI. My 93 had a small problem like that and I took the IAC off and cleaned it and it ran a whole lot better.

      OOPS! Sorry, I forgot to mention that. 1990 EFI w/5 speed.

        Mine did the same for a while. It wound up being the TPS *slightly* out of adjustment.
