  • Stupid Question of the Month

You have the hose that runs to the top of the radiator overflow and there is a "T" connection at the top. Then there is a hose that runs from the other side of the T to nothing. Should there be another connection there?

I know I should know the answer to this but I'm having major brain farts tonight. :p

That's the over flow hose. Ah, for when the coolant resivor tank is full and blows over. It dosent hook to anything. But I always replace it with a longer one, routed downward to the bottom of the engine compartment. I don't like the short one cause when it's used it gets all the electrical wet and messy.

I want to say there is no stupid questions, but I think you might get some flogging over this one. 

:laughing6: I knew it was the overflow hose but I've never seen one just go nowhere. Bring on the flogging

Why did the chicken cross the road?

The only stupid question....is the one not asked!

You asked the question, so therefore, it is not stupid.
