First night with new car, it needs a clutch thats for sure. I had an easy enough time making sure it had fuel and spark and finally got it to fire. I have to blip throttle to get it to start and then nurse the throttle a lot to keep it going. When i let rpms down slowly it falls off and dies if i dont keep it going. I know, since im doing a clutch i might as well swap in the other engine but that means a lot of exhaust work i don't have money for, and a shady smog to get it registered. I thought i was going to be able to have it going this weekend. Anyway I do see the thread for the timing belt adjustment and im going to try that first. If i can get her to idle and stuff by reinstalling the belt ill wait on the swap. If not im starting a garage build thread asap. Ill start one anyway when there is light.
