  • Shaking at high speed

So recently after I start to go over 55mph my car begins to shake as if it has tires that are unbalanced, So the first logical thing I did was go get the tires balanced.

That didn't fix it, so now I have no idea what it could be any suggestions ?

Make sure your lugs bolts are torqued by hand, not an impact.

Check tie rod ends and ball joints.

          This......and not over torqued.
I fought this for awhile before I figured it out.

bearings possibly. lugs should be torqued to about 70 ft/lbs.

check air pressure in tires and try swapping tires side-to-side before spending more money

I had a slight shake in mine I got the tires balanced and then it still had it so I rotated from to back and it took care of it.

Like matt said, tire pressure, check it. than swap tires see if that does it, if it doesn't get your buddy to turn your wheel all the way left and right in a parking lot (paved) and open your master cylinder, if you have play in the front bearings theres a good chance you will see movement of the fluid in the m/c while the wheels are turning. keep in mind most shops consider .25 off on the outside is 'okay' when balancing, and think most people won't notice it. if you have ever used a 'stop leak', and haven't had the tire off the rim since then, this can give you a shake aswell.
