  • pull steering wheel

I dont have a steering wheel puller.

Is there another way to remove it?

Take a hold of both sides and pull. Jerk on side then the other. Did that on several steering wheels with no prob. Just be careful when they they go and it's possible to flip over the seat if it's reclined.. don't ask.

Leave the bolt in the center on by a couple threads to prevent hitting yourself with the wheel. Sometimes it is also necessary to hit the bolt in the center with a hammer if it is stubborn, usually if you grab it on both side and tug firmly side to side it will come off though.

I took a nice wheel off an '89 Tracer. It took me about one minute or less of tugging to get it off after I unbolted it.

Not difficult at all. Just work it!

If you plan to reintsall the wheel don't forget to line the wheels straight ahead and line up the streering wheel level or better yet mark it to go one the same way.

I thought the Festiva steering wheel was keyed??? I could be mistaken.

Has caught the most Festivas on Fire on this board!!

Not keyed, splined with a billion splines. I put mine back on one spline off one time ,and that wasn't cool, because I had to take it back off and put it back on right.
