ATX Festiva CV compatability implied on Ebay??

This shows a pic of a right side CV axle and claims the ATX Festiva part is the same as on non-turbo Capris, early 323s and early Tracers (as well as '81 to '85 GLCs).

Is this so?

If it is, it would open up some ATX CV hunts to other vehicles when ATX Festivas are scarce!

They are right about the all the other cars using the same axles, but the part #'s on partsamerica.com are different on the festiva. They may work if the diameter of the shaft is different, but I doubt they are compatible.

I just checked Rock Auto and all the parts numbers were different as well.

I suppose there still is the possibility they could swap over, but someone would have to actually try it, or directly compare ATX Festy CVs with Tracer/323 ones.

If I ever get the chance at the 'yard, I'll wrench 'em out and eyeball them.

i'm not sure all vehicles even have the same spline count.
