Rack and Pinion Lube?
02-26-2006, 10:47 PM
Both the boots on my rack are torn. When I go to replace them, is there anything I need to do to the rack to lube it? Add some gear lube, grease a fitting, anything?

I used good old moly grease on my dad's rack and pinion. Seemed to work pretty good, as far as holding up time will tell.
