Rear defroster wiring

What color is the wire to the rear defrost ? The glass has a male flat blade connector and the wire in the hatch has a round post connector ! It is also the same color ( black lite blue strip ) wire that is in the plug for the defrost switch! Has anyone had this issue before ?

New build on the way .

What year? Haynes manual shows it (pg 12-35) on interior lighting wiring diagram for 88-89 models. Supply wire is RED/GRN, ground wire is BLK.

What's the issue?

Original owner of silver grey carburetted 1989 Festiva. 105k km as of June 2006. 140k km as of June 2021.
