So I replaced my clutch. Didn't think I ran into any problems, but now the clutch acts the opposite of what it is suppose to.

When the clutch pedal is in, it acts as it is disengaged.

When the clutch pedal is out, it acts as it is engaged.

I've done a few clutches in other cars, but never in a festiva and never a cable clutch.

Anyone have any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Again, any help would be great.

      I'm a little confused.
What you describe above is normal.

Did you mean to say the opposite.
An engaged clutch to me means it is pressed against the flywheel.
Disengaged means it not pressing against the flywheel.

Oops. Yes, the clutch is operating the opposite of normal. Clutch in = wheels spin(not well, but they spin). Pedal out = wheels stationary. Can ya tell this is confusing me alittle?
