took it for a drive 2day after fixing the brakes and it still sputtered. I haven't had time to put a bigger line on yet but will here soon. It spuddered and coughed out till just under a grand and when it came back and tried to accel it acted like a car running out of gas. It came back in spurts. Fuel preasure regulator? could it also be that line being 2 small? Thanks

Ok I decided to double check things again. I have a meeting tomm. so I will check it after the meeting. I am rechecking the VAF TPS and timming. I have a few theories on it but dunno how sound they are. It feels like a fuel problem, like it is being starved, kinda like a car running out of fuel. Theories: 1. The fuel return line off of the regulator is 2 small, I used the 88 instead of the 93 lines. 2. The fuel presure regulator is bad. 3. The fuel pump is running dry, it happens when I shift so slushing away from the pump, The 88 tank doesn't have the bowl in the bottom of it. 4. Maybe the neutral saftey switch has something to do with it, it goes to the ecu and is unhooked, the car is a manual but the FI and wiring is from an auto. Let me know what you think

after it was warm the o2 flucuated from .5 to .3 it wasn't slugish so I don't think it is the O2 sensor. Does the TP have any thing to do with the mixture? the plugs only show carbon when driven.... I could let it idle for an hour or 2 and the plugs wouldn't show any carbon.... I am going to swap a vaf from a knowen good running fest to mine and see what happens.
