  • BP flywheel

Probably a noob question, but how do I get this thing off to get to the flywheel?

Well on my Jeep theres an inspection plate in the front of the flywheel that lets you get to the 4 bolts that hold the converter to it. Id assume its the same with that or close...

I think it through the starter hole to get the torque converter nuts off.

As noted, on auto Festivas you go through the starter area when you remove the starter. Or there is an inspection plate, also as noted.

FYI, the "flywheel" is referred to as the "flexplate" for autos if I'm not mistaken.

Okay, that made it very easy. Four nuts on the back, and it fell right off. For some reason I didn't even think of looking behind it. Thanks for the help!
