ok i have someone up here with the same issue.
here's what you need to inspect: check the connections and pins at the short harness extention between the main harness and tank (the one in the plate), then also check the pins at the pump mount (you can disconnect them from the back side). i found one wire (it happenend to be the hot wire (pun intended)) that had melted through the pin bracket and caused a break in continuity to the pump.Trees aren't kind to me...
