I've bought these at Advance a few time as well. Their site lists Dorman part # 304986 and 304987 for the right rear and 05186 for the left rear. Not sure why the 2 part numbers for the right side but I'm pretty sure I purchased the 304986 because it was cheaper. Sorry, I don't have a receipt to verify but hope this helps.

Thanks! Turned out to be the right size. Gave it to the mechanic and he ended up not charging the extra $175.00 after all, so it all worked out!

Much the same story on availability here in Ottawa. NAPPA doesn't list them. No joy from the Ford dealership where I bought the car. The biggest parts jobber in town doesn't have them on the computer. He even called a couple of places. A specialist called Axle Automotive where I got my rebuilt axle doesn't have any nuts that small. The guy at Canadian Tire said he couldn't get them until I gave him the Dorman part numbers off this thread. He looked them up in his Dorman parts book and quoted me $19.60 a side. FordFestiva.com rocks. The price doesn't rock but if I can't get a pair from a wrecking yard they are there as backup.

I put in new RR wheel bearings this week. The nut is chewed up and starting to split. It should be replaced. Every the drum is taken off to get at the brakes or bearings the nut is staked again. It's really soft and I can see it getting stripped if forced the wrong way. This weekend the LR bearings are getting replaced.
