Quick question, I'm in the middle of a timing belt job, I pulled the crankshaft key out and I don't remember which end went towards the motor, I logically assume the rounded end but I want to make sure. Thanks for the help.

I think the slightly rounded end goes toward the motor. I realy don't think it matters anyway but it makes it easier to put in.The Festiva Store

The end isn't exactly round, its more like a "U" shape. It seemed a little more rectangular than square, maybe I'm wrong, I put it in with the rounded edges up and down, with the key at 12:00 I hope that was right, I should've paid more attention to it.97 Ford Aspire 2dr 5 sp
