ATX A/C Fan

Just recieved my NOS right side A/C Fan. Now I need to install & wire it. Not today its rainin' , ofcourse. a few questions, will I find the wireing already installed, like most other wireing? If not how do I wire it? It comes with a 2 wire plug , with a green wire & a Black wire. Black is ground & Green is power. Iv'e read to get a universal relay. They have 4 or 5 terminals. What do I use as power? I want it to run when the A/C is on only. How do I wire that. Also do I need an inline fuse on the power side? What size, 15 A?

Found the post from FestYboy on useing a universal automotuve relay, but its confusein' to me. Which wire is the "clutch power wire? The relay has 4 connections, Festy says 1 is to be t-ed into clutch power wire, 1 is the fan ground wire & 2 are grounds. Where does the fan power wire with inline fuse connect?

Hi NavyDoc,

I recently wired up my manual cooling fan switch and did a write up on it showing pics and what wires go to which number on a relay. However, instead of using battery power to control the switch portion of the relay like I did in this write up, tap into the a/c clutch power wire. The 25Amp inline fuse should go between the green wire on the actual fan and number 87 on the relay. Ask any questions if you need more help. Heres the link:

OohRah, Thanks. Okay you ask for it, Where is the Clutch wire/ I don't want a switch, 'cause I know either me or my son will forget to turn it off. Probly my son!! And the drawin' was great, thanks again.:glasses11:

So 30 goes to the fan clutch wire? and 85is ,what, blank-not connected to anything?
