I have problem with my gas needle on dash. It's working only if my gas tank is 2/4 full and up. Anyone know how to fix this?

Sending unit. Flip seat forward roll it forward. Pop up the carpet. 4 phillips head bolts to remove cover, 8 or so phillips head bolts to remove the fuel pump/sending unit. replace sending unit. if you can find 1ohm/inch wire in 30ga. just rewrap the unit.Trees aren't kind to me...
