  • Pissy little part

Would anyone in the FF nation happen to have an extra little weird clip (or 2) laying around that hooks the door lock knob rod to the lock cylinder rod (pushes knob up and down with lock). I guess after 23 years everything eventually gets brittle Or an alternative. Can still lock the door, just not from the inside. This also happened with my first Festiva, but was able to find one at the wrecking yard. There are literally (at this posting) no wrecked Festivas anywhere close. Thanks!

Last time I needed one of those I found it at a local parts place in the Dorman HELP! section. Had to buy a pack with 6 or so asstorted clips to get it but was only a few bucks.

You can get them out of most any car door (not just a festiva) at the jy

Yeah, those do get brittle with age, plus sometimes they get busted up removing them for repairs, etc. Good to know the "HELP!" sections should have them.

this needs to be renamed... something like door lock clip broke / door won't lock (solution included) or something.

                  those variety packs are great
