replace CV axles, what else to do while I am there

Hey all,
Red thunder is clicking when I turn sharply. I want to take the axles out of Casper (white lightning) and put them in Red Thunder.
Since I am taking the car apart, what else should I replace when I am down there?
Axle seals?
Red thunder is stock and only has 311k on her. So I am hoping these axles are not cemented in.

Also, what is the size of the axle nut?

Seals and bearings would be my 1st thought. And i've seen two diff size nuts. So you need to see what size comes with your replacemant axle. A 1-1/8 twelve pt socket fits on some of them. Otherwise just get the metric socket at Harbor Freight.
