My cry for help.
I have always had some blow-by, and blowing oil on my valve cover. I kept it in check with regular cleaning/replacement of my PVC valve.
But over the weekend I put in new cam and crank seals. Well ....now its REALLY blowing out my breather filter. I mean BADLY. Its ok as long as I am driving on the street, but on the highway with the higher RPM's, its blowing like a whales blowhole! I have a cone breather filter on my valve cover air inlet. It is blowing out the breather filter onto the v. cover.
Here's my question:
I'm thinking about an oil catch can on the breather. Where/How should I put it, so I still get air into the v. cover? I'm thinking to put the breather filter on a "tee" in line with the catch can somehow? Or maybe directly on top of the catch can?
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance and here are pics of present set-up:
Notice the breather filter on the r/h side of the v. cover.
