I replaced the transmission in my 89 festiva and noticed that the front support arm was rusted through and now everything is resting on a rod below the motor and under acceleration the motor kind of hops up and down should i be worried or just let it go. Also when I put the new transmission in my speedometer doesn't work anymore, any ideas about this.

Fix the support. Weld on a new piece of steel on the bottom of the radiator support and then bolt or weld the cross member to it.
