My automatic transmission in
my 1993 Festiva is slipping a
little. It only has 65,000 miles
On it. Any ideas?

Fluid level is good, color is too.

Drain it and look for glitter, shavings. Use magnet. No easy fixes on autos.

Does it get better once it's warmed up? Mine slips a little too when cold and parked overnight.

It's fine when I manually shift for the first couple of stoplights. Someone suggested a filter since it gets better once the fluid warms up and gets thinner since it can flow through the filter better.
