Not sure if this in the rite forum. I bought a bp motor and decided to rebuild it. Well ive got it all tore down and ready to put back together. The problem is the guy i bought it off of said that the guy he got it off of said it came outa a 93 or 94 escort gt. Im wanting to order my rebuild kit and not sure what to order. Just order it for one of those years? Anyway of finding out what this motor came out of and year? I thought about running block numbers but only found that there was BP 1 on the block. Any help would be great thanks.

any year BP escort rebuild kit will work, and protege LX with the BP. don't use one for the Miata.Trees aren't kind to me...
