I will try to help ,
Is the fuel pump working ,are you getting gas to the carb ,are you priming it to start , (pouring gas in the carb )
Is the choke working ,if so you may have a vaccum leak , or a no fuel situation.
Could be a internal vac leak in the carb, if you took it apart,
What was it doing before you done the carb, did you take it all apart and soak it ,and use a kit ?

      carb

The fuel pump works the float bowl is full and its the same conditions as before I cleaned it ,no kit. Pour gas in carb to start and won't keep running unless I put my hand on the carb and choke it.

You have a vacuum leak or the carb needs replaced/rebuilt.

OK, if you hold your hand over it and let it warm up, does it stay running?

is your choke fully open when it is cold? if yes, try snapping the throttle to see if your choke closes.

The choke is closed and I've played w/throttle. I let it get fairly warm but it still quits when I lose my rhythm of choking it.

I was trying to get away with the cheapest route so I can save money for my bp. Just wanted to get it running so I could drive it until the new motor is ready I read that people have got a kit for 35$. I might have to go order that . Also, Thanks for taking time to help appreciate it.
