Can we buy this locking wire/clip at a stealership or is it a junk yard only thing? The other day I was driving and the connector came loose and it started bogging and running really crappy. The day prior, I had removed the VAF and the battery to try and remount it (the battery) on the passenger side but the battery was just too big so I put it back on the driver's side. This is when I noticed the VAF connector was missing the locking clip. So when it acted up, I knew it was VAF related, luckily I had a 10mm wrench in my car to loosen the clamps to remove the VAF and reconnect the connector. At the moment, I locked it on with electrical tape til I can find one of these clips.

I hate when a tang breaks off an old connector. You really need a connector terminal extraction tool. After removing the bad connector, just push the terminals into the replacement connector from the junk yard. Tip, be sure you change the wires one at a time unless you draw a picture. Good luck.
