Got tired of the under dash buzzer so I unplugged it. It is a black plastic matchbox size thing with about 6 wires going into it and it says "timer" on the side. Anybody know what it does beside buzz? So far I haven't noticed anything different with the car except it's quieter and calmer.

My car has been buzzer-free for a few months now. No side effects that I know of. :p

Seat belt and door-open Buzzers and warning lights irritate me to no end. However I have noticed the upscale tach cluster panel features (at least the one I just recently installed) a built-in 'headlights are still on' buzzer and that is something I actually do appreciate. Just exactly where is this little matchbox-sized gizmo so that I can disable the ringers on my most recent aquisition?

Just put your keys in, open the door and let the buzzer sound. Stick your head under the steering wheel and feel around for it.Originally posted by Bert View PostSeat belt and door-open Buzzers and warning lights irritate me to no end.
