  • Not enough room to install outer brake pad?

I have installed new brake rotors and have also redone the bearings/seals. I went to put on the new brake pads and don't have enough room to put the new pads on the outer side. Any good techniques. Anything I'm missing.

With the outer pad installed I can't 'bolt up the caliber to the wheel assembly.

    Help

Need to make sure the caliper piston is compressed, and that the slide pins in the caliper move freely

^ Yes to both of the above especially the slide bushings. They are most likely the culprit.

        2x what Joe said!
If the piston is not fully inset or caliper slides are frozen/gummed up then they will not move to their maximum position, leaving you in the position you describe

Thanks guys for the tips. Got everything on. The slider bolts were the issue.
