    its 92 festiva. 5 speed.
it doesnt get driven much at all... so sat a good bit this summer,no issues to speak of,drive it here or there no problems. last week went out and tried to start it,had nothing.bought and installed new fully charged battery, while installing had a pretty decent spark from the terminals when i was putting them on the post. so there is a draw somewhere, checked it the next morning, battery was dead again. recharged and put back in and checked the fuses out, pulled the fuse that controls the radio a 10 amp fuse inside, and the heavy spark went away from the terminals. the radio still works just fine,no issues with that when the fuse is in,what else does that fuse control?? what else should i check? thanks alot.

You have a volt meter? I've been dealing with a similar issue lately as well. Still haven't tracked mine down but it still gets on my nerves

The ROOM fuse controls: ECA, int lights, radio, shift lock control (auto), luggage comp lamp. From '92 wiring manual.

Guys the first no cost test you should be doing is disconect the grd on battery after you know its fully charged (ethier from charger or your alt). Let it sit overnight. Then check its charge state the next day. If its not close to 12.5v you have a bad cell. Another thing to look for, when you have it charging. Are all the cell plates bubbling? You should be able to see bubbles coming off all the plates. A dead plate will be obvious. If its holding a charge overnight disconected. Then pull all the fuses, & find the amp draw with meter.
