ahahahah took me 6 full days to pull and replace the 5.7 vortec in my tahoe and I am still missing a plug to the canister purge.

I had to swap a bunch of parts over though like the powersteering....etc.

      It was a major PITA.

for you guys to say you can pull it in 2 hours or less is music to my ears because I fear engines now after the tahoe.

Went to the Jy today and bought the whole corner of the car. I also scored a center console, door pockets, and a spoiler.

do some festys come with door pockets? because that is where I got the door pockets from.

it was at the $2 JY in new ringgold. lol . However, it is not a festy spoiler, but it is an exact fit around the window and it is a bit squarey like a festy body....it is an awesome spoiler in my opinion.

I got it off a old hatchback VW...not sure which one though...sorry. You probably know which wing it is though as you guys tried or seen everything. It has a brakelight in it also.

I will post pics of it today as I have to take pics of the tahoe for an interested buyer.

here is the best part....for the wing, console, and door pockets....i paid a whoping....drum roll please.......$10....ahahahah.

i paid $40 for the corner frame thing....20 for the guy to cut it and 20 for the part.

They have 2 new festys up there...making 4 in total. the one I got the door pockets off of is brand new to the JY.....it is right down from the garage...it is painted blue and white with a huge NY symbol on the hatch...kinda gay if you ask me. it is pretty stock all the way around...it does have a console though)
The other is in the no tools area (where I stole my console from.''i paid for it though''..lol) it is just you are not allowed to take anything from it until someone buys the engine....kinda gay if you ask me....i want part off it badly. So someone please buy the engine....it is $240 with 98,000 miles on it.

here goes a few pics of what I got.

not a bad fit: probably wont have to mod anything, we'll see when its time to mount it.

Looks like it'll fit nicely. Whip it on there, get it straight, paint it flat black.

I am in the process...i sanded my hatch to the metal yesterday. I just got to primer it and mount the spoiler, then get it ready for paint.
