Best way to install hatch glass..?

I bought my old Yellow Festy back from previous owner.Going to redo it for my niece.We have a new hatch glass and seal.I tried putting it in by myself a while back.Wasn't happening.What is the sure-fire easiest way to put one in ?

This way.
