  • E-Brake Cable Removal/Install?

    anyone got a link to a write up or walkthrough for removing/replacing an e-brake cable?
    it looks relatively simple, but i'm a "gotta see it" kinda guy and would appreciate any help you may have..

    I just did this last week but didn't take any pictures.
    Actually it's pretty easy, the only bad part is you have to pull the carpet up enough to get to the bracket that holds the cable just after it enter's the cabin.

      All systemz's advice is correct about getting at the cable bracket which is at the back seat and under the one piece molded carpet. Impatient folks merely slit the carpet others spend a whole afternoon removing chairs and seats etc.
      Undo the tall nut at the end of the cable and then undo the 2 nuts that hold down the handbrake. From there it is a fairly simple, but time consuming operation of threading everything through the floor at the back seat.
