    totally confused with cooling sensors - locations? wire colors?

    there are three cooling sensors on a b3 EFI, right?
    fan switch
    heat gauge sensor
    temp sensor for the ECU

    ECU sensor has two wires and it is the one closest to the driver.

    Is heat gauge sensor the smallest one of the front on the head? What is the color of wire for this one?

    Is fan switch the 17mm sensor on the thermostat? What is the wire color?

    Yup sounds like you already know which sensors are which, I'm not sure of the wire colors off hand but coolant temp sensor is on the intake, temp gauge is in the front of the cyl. head and fan switch is on the t-stat housing

      fan switch has two wires,heat gauge sensor has but one.
