  • Roof popping

Well I took the festiva on a trip for the first time in many months. I was driving into a major headwind but this was the first time I heard it. I thought it might be one of the strips that came loose but they're still held down good. I'm pretty sure the higher pressure in the cab was causing the roof to pop. I guess the glue or whatever they use to hold the roof to the cross beam aren't holding anymore, I guess I shouldn't use the stiva as a ladder. Anybody else have this? Or know what I can use to re-stick it?

My 2nd festiva did that. When I got off the highway and slowed down it would pop.

you could use the minimal expanding foam between your roof cross members and the roof

they sell the foam at home depot

Or you could just stick your well-chewed gum in between the cracks to accomplish the same thing without spending any extra!

Just jam a 2 x 4 between the floor and the headliner. Paint it the same color as your interior first though. Ive notice the inside door panel pushing against my leg in a good cross wind. Also the top of the window frame will move in and out.

:laughing3: A 2x4 that's a new one.. mine does the window frame flop but my dad's doesn't. I think it has something to do with the wreck mine was in.
