I have an 89 ford festiva non injection. Whats all involved to swap the 2.3 and the 2.3 was rear driven

Guy are messing with ya, it wont fit. Best bet is sell it to a SVO mustang guy and use the money to pick up another festiva engine.

Thats what i figured. Thats why i thought i would post it on here to get some info. Trying to get another motor for the car. Figured while i had the one out i would upgrade

Ive heard of lima swaps into tempos but have never seen one, that is NUTS.

Kinda pointless going to a fwd with it but I bet thats a sleeper and a half.

The guys are playing with you because not only will it not bolt up but a festiva isn't even a ford. It's a mazda. So the true ford 2.3 is as likely to bolt up to the festiva trans as it is to bolt to a honda trans.

In the newer B2600 trucks, the ones that look like rangers, are they mazda engines or ford? Did mazda and ford do the opposite from a festiva. festiva= mazda engines, and ranger uses mazda engines, or ford engines?
