I just measured it, its just shy of an inch big, i cant find my mm ruler

IIRC, the inner tie rod is 17mm so it should work. I used a wrench last time I changed them, but their long winded so it kinda sucked lol.

Oh, so pull the boot off.And you can get a open end on them?

Yes, the tool is handy on a lot of cars that are inaccessible in that parts
location. Also, after its broke loose you can spin the inner socket
with a gun

My old ones must have not been oe then. 17mm doesn't fit.

Could you verify before I purchase the tool? Thatwould be awesome.
I dont want to get it and it doesnt have the correct adapters. That was the reason behind this post. Thanks Chobo-

If you jack up the car you can easily reach it from underneath though, i just used a 24mm wrench

I think he's talking about the wrench size not the "bolt" size. A lot of people don't know there is a difference.

I've done a couple of inners already and was lucky enough to have a buddy with a collection of big wrenches (most people don't) but I could have sworn they were 23 millimeter.

it could have been 23 i thought it was 24, either way that tool wont fit
