Aspire b3 into a Festiva

Have found several low mileage Aspire engines (94-95) and what to replace my Festy engine (91) . The parts info says the Aspire has a bigger crank snout???, same as 92 1/2 & 93 festy. anything in particular I need to do ??

It shouldn't make a difference as long as you get the complete engine. IIRC the only thing that will be different is the lower timing belt gear. Get that with the engine and it should be fine.

Do you have ac? If so your easiest bet is to go with a festiva engine. The pulley's are different.. unless you change out the compressor. If not the aspire's b3 is a step up.

What about the whole sequential FI thing?

Well he will have to use the festiva's intake unless you want to wire in the new harness and newer emissions junk.
