Helpp b3 main bearing caps!!

Hey everyone i made a rookie mistake and mixed up main bearing caps does anyone know the order or can send me a pic???

If you have a dial bore gauge, you may be able to install the caps and measure the bores to determine which ones go where. Obviously you look for the cap that makes the completed journal perfectly round. Never done it myself, but I was told it's possible. Option #2 is just have the mains aligned honed. It will cost some additional money, but it will make for a better engine engine (so it's not like you'd be throwing the money away).

X2 on the bore gauge. That'll be your best bet. Next time, mark them before removing them. I don't know if it will be much help but I believe the 4th main cap from the front has a < cast in it (mine did anyway).

try matching metal stains..then bore gauge

Mine had cast numbers and arrows pointing to the front of the engine.
