  • Fuel delivery issue after sitting

Alright this is my first post. Car ( 92 festi) sat 3 weeks and now I'm not getting fuel to thr motor. I know the pump is good and the relay is good. I have power to the pump from the relay. Any ideas? And yes the vehicle does have gas in it . Also I'm certain thr AVF is working properly

Have you pulled the fuel line and confirmed the pump is kicking on and pumping fuel up front? Also if your intake tube isn't connected to the engine and vaf it won't kick on the fuel pump.

Pull the line after the filter, and if thats a no go, pull the line pre filter, if still a no go, pull the line after the pump, if thats a no go, pull pump lol.

pull the pump assembly, check for power to the pump AT the pump itself, not the connector (you'll have to activate the fuel pump test port near the brake booster). if you don't see power there, move to the back side of the pump connector and test there. basicaly you need to work from the pump to the battery and look for burnt or corroded connectors. i ran into the same situation on a festy... had power to the pump connector at the assembly, but didnt have power to the PUMP. there was a pin burnt on the pump side of the connector that caused a high resistance in the line and that kept the pump from running.

          don't replace befor you diagnose!
