i change my radiator. its now leaking tranny fluid. source of the problem. the right "boot" or "nipple" at the bottom is cross threaded. seems like an easy fix right? untighten it and retighten it. but a mechanic told me id have to buy a whole new one. is this true?

Mechanics will also lie to you, often. As long as you haven't stripped the threads, it should be alright, but be careful next time. Maybe try some 'bathroom tape' around the threads to ensure it seals.Originally posted by cway1319 View PostIn love with a MadScientist!:thumbright:

a mechanic that lies isn't a mechanic, he's a hack and a thief.Trees aren't kind to me...
