mass air flow sensor

Can i put a newer mass air flow sensor in my 92 festiva or will it not go with the .cu?

There is no mass airflow sensor.

There is a "airflow sensor" that screws to the VAF and is replaceable if faulty.

I think he means can a MASS be wired to replace the VAF..
Much more compact, flows more-less restriction and more accurate

I've seen pics of a K & N setup but don't know what replaces the temp, air flow and fuel pump functions of the VAF.

I believe you need to change the ECU, to something such as a megasquirt to replace the VAF with a MAF.
