  • Loose vacuum hoses part identify

While working under the car on my oil pan. I noticed a loose hose under the Carb area. It connected to a cylinder looking thing. Looked broke off. The other end of hose connected to some split lines. The part I need identified had two similar cylinder looking things with like a rubbery round thing on the end.
These parts are not seen from above the engine. And way away from the ground.
If I HAVE to I can get back under there and SEE if I can get a good enough picture for you guys.

I would just take the part off but I'm unsure how it connects. The hose looks to have a broken plastic piece in it.

Does the hose have an identifying colour? Often a dashed line along its length.

It's underneath. And it as 2 hoes on it and connects to a metal hose.

It's the one on the driver side and the hose is the one closest to the driver side of car. Hope that helps like I side it's really hard to see it because it's far away, dark and dirty

I took this photo of the posterior hoses, inferior view, carburetted engine. The scarlet object is the oil filtre and indicates front (anterior) of engine. Photo does not show blue plastic object but I'll attach it anyway for future reference, and because I want to try attaching a photo to a message which I haven't done before.

I don't know if a new one can be purchased? However you can get one off another parts carby car or I may have one around.

How does this part connect. Does it just screw in? What does it control? Like what's it purpose.

screws into intake, runs vacuum based on temp for the feedback system.
