  • where to find rack boots for 89 festy

    I can't get boots w/o buying a rack ($240) - will aspire boots work?


    I found some for a 92 festy buy will they work? doubt it since it didn't say they would. were the racks differant?

    You mean bellows? I'm pretty sure all the racks were the same, no diff between auto & manual, carby or EFI. Rock Auto has them.

      The bushings that attach from the rack to the firewall are not all the same.

        There are 3 different racks that I know of. The early rack, the power rack and the late non power rack. I got my boots from Festiva motorsports. Sometimes he puts some on eBay.

            Yes, he is, the boots that protect the steering rack behind the outer tie rod ends. Can you get these new and how much with shipping?
