How is this way to test motor motor mounts? 2 people..........with engine running and foot pressing on brake pedal slowly and carefully engage clutch while other person watches for excessive movement of the motor while working throttle to keep idle up. This is how I found one of mine broken, the rear middle one. The rubber part of the mount had separated from the steel.

Motor is nice and smooth with a broken motor mount and a good running motor.
You can put the car in gear or park with the e brake off and rock it back and forth.
With the hood up you can see the motor move where things are broken or unbolted.
Shake at idle may or may not have a broken mount but it has a rough engine
that needs diagnosed. Fuel, vacuum leak, ignition..or hope like heck its not mechanical!!Reflex paint by Langeman...Lifted...Tow Rig

Take a little strand of wire and put one in each tower of the disty cap that goes to
a cylinder. Then take a test light or another piece of grounded wire and hold it near
each tower so that it sparks to it while it is idling. See if one cylinder has no change
or if it is random..They all make some change. Be sure and take the little strands
back out, if one catches you unawares what comes out your pant leg could become the
talk of town!Reflex paint by Langeman...Lifted...Tow Rig
